Evaluation Model of Adaptability of VR Physical Education Teaching in Primary and Secondary Schools ——Based on Combined Weighting-TOPSIS

Abstract: Against the backdrop of accelerated digital transformation, Virtual Reality (VR) technology, with its immersive and virtual characteristics, can perfectly integrate with physical education teaching. However, in practical applications, there are still many problems: high hardware costs, insufficient teacher capabilities, and resource waste caused by uneven regional resources. Based on the actual situation, this study constructs a “combined weighting-TOPSIS” evaluation model to scientifically quantify schools’ adaptability to VR physical education teaching from the perspectives of students, teachers, and schools. The model uses the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to subjectively weight difficult-to-quantify indicators and the Entropy Weight Method (EWM) to objectively weight quantifiable indicators, forming comprehensive indicator weights. It provides a decision-making basis for educational management departments and promotes the development and application of VR physical education teaching towards demand-oriented, orderly, and efficient progress.
