Application Pathways for Artificial Intelligence Technology in the Digital Transformation of Archives

Abstract: The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence technology has provided unprecedented technical support and innovative impetus for the digital transformation of archives. Starting from practical archival management experiences, this paper systematically examines the significance of AI technology in driving archival digitalization, thoroughly analyzes existing challenges—including inadequate infrastructure, insufficient technological integration, talent shortages, and deficiencies in data security safeguards—and proposes comprehensive optimization measures across four dimensions: strengthening digital infrastructure, enhancing technological-business integration, fostering talent development, and establishing robust security assessment systems. These recommendations aim to provide actionable guidance for archival institutions in effectively implementing AI technologies and achieving high-quality digital transformation.
