Construction Path and Application Outcomes of the MPM Process Information System in the Textile Machinery Industry

Abstract: After Zhengzhou Hongda New Type Textile Machinery Co., Ltd. (Zhengzhou Hongda) began independent operations in July 2023, the original Hengtian Heavy Industry information platform no longer met the company’s evolving business needs. Although the production and design departments had completed the deployment of SAP and PLM systems, process management remained unaddressed in terms of informatization. This led to a disconnect between R&D and production data, chaotic version control of process documents, and compromised management efficiency. Based on Zhengzhou Hongda’s actual process management situation and referencing successful practices from similar projects within the industry, this paper briefly outlines the implementation path for the MPM (Manufacturing Process Management) process information system, summarizes the realization of its core functional modules, and evaluates the tangible outcomes achieved through project execution, providing a reference case for other enterprises in the textile machinery industry pursuing process informatization.
