Abstract: With the continuous development of hydraulic engineering, the stability of hydraulic structures has become a key technical challenge in the design, construction, and operation of engineering projects. Research on the stability of hydraulic structures throughout their lifecycle is crucial for improving the safety, service life, and economic efficiency of engineering projects. As environmental changes and extreme weather conditions become more frequent, the risks to the stability of hydraulic structures continue to increase. Effectively assessing and managing the stability of hydraulic structures has become an urgent technical issue. This paper analyzes the various factors affecting the stability of hydraulic structures throughout their lifecycle, proposing corresponding research methods and technical measures. It also presents practical applications of lifecycle management in the stability assessment of hydraulic structures, aiming to provide theoretical support and practical guidance for the design, operation, and maintenance of hydraulic projects. The study is expected to provide specific technical guidance for the lifecycle management of hydraulic structures to ensure their long-term stability and safety.
