Research on Ethical Dilemmas and Governance Paths of AI-Powered Nursing Education

Abstract: Artificial intelligence (AI) has significantly improved the teaching effectiveness of nursing education, but it is also accompanied by the accumulation of ethical risks and the lack of governance, which urgently requires systematic response. Currently, in the process of AI empowering nursing education, there exist major ethical dilemmas, such as data privacy breaches, lack of algorithmic fairness, ambiguous definition of responsibilities, weakened humanistic care, and crises of academic integrity. Based on this, a trinity comprehensive governance framework of “technology-institution-humanism” should be established. Through ethical embedded design at the technical level, guarantee of standardized systems at the institutional level, and value-oriented guidance at the humanistic level, a collaborative governance mechanism can be formed. This will ensure the healthy and sustainable development of AI-enabled nursing education, and ultimately realize a responsible and people-oriented intelligent educational ecosystem.
