Southern Medicine Workshop —— Intensive Processing and Health Product Development of Andrographis paniculata, a characteristic Chinese herbal medicine in Leizhou Peninsula

Abstract:Andrographis paniculata, as a common Chinese herbal medicine, provides theoretical basis and practical reference for helping the andrographis paniculata industry in Leizhou Peninsula to achieve sustainable development. This paper focuses on the characteristic medicinal plant resources in Leizhou Peninsula and selects Andrographis paniculata, a local representative herbal medicine, as the research material. Firstly, it analyzes its local planting advantages and all resource endowments. Then the deep processing technology of andrographis paniculata is deeply analyzed, and the application status and innovation direction of the technology are analyzed around the key links such as extraction, separation and purification. Combined with the characteristics and efficacy of andrographis paniculata, this paper studies all kinds of health products developed, including medicines, health care products and cosmetics, and analyzes the market prospects and development trends of related products.
